What do I offer?
I offer adult (18+) ADHD assessments, autism assessments, and combined ADHD and autism assessments.

A clear and supportive route to diagnosis
I recognise that neurodiversity presents differently for each individual, and so I use a conversational style assessment which enables me to get to know you, and how any neurodivergent traits may show up, along with the strengths and challenges these traits may bring.
NICE guidelines.
My diagnostic process uses evidence-based diagnostic tools for Autism and ADHD that are in-line with NICE guidelines. I have adapted these to enable a more conversational approach.
My goal
My aim is that, if there is a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, or combined autism and ADHD (AudHD), then this process will help you understand how your neurodivergence influences how you experience the world, and how you might be able to adapt to this. We will also discuss what adaptations any neurotypical individuals in your life can make to support you. I take a strengths-based approach that looks at what your strengths are, as well as the areas where support may help. Whatever the outcome, my hope is that you will leave with a clearer understanding of yourself, and a sense of what to do next.
You will only have to talk to me
I understand that communicating with different people can often be exhausting, therefore I will look after you through the whole process and you will not need to talk to anyone else. For completeness, and in-line with the NICE guidance, I will share your diagnostic information with my multi-disciplinary team on an anonymous basis. Your personal information will be always kept confidential.

Brief Telephone Consultation: I understand that you might be nervous about taking this step and finding the right fit is important. This is why I can offer a free brief telephone consultation (10-15 minutes) to those who would like it, for us to discuss how I may be able to help you and to ensure that we are well matched to move forward for the screening session.
